Engagements
I help individuals and teams build software with AI using the Ho System. Architectural authority stays with you. The work arrives as verified, recorded, reviewable steps.
Working together
I can work with you on a project or teach your team to use the Ho System through guided sessions. We define what you want to build, organize the work into manageable steps, and establish how to check the results. You practice directing the AI, reviewing its output, and deciding when the work is ready to proceed.
What you receive
- A project plan and a record of each session's decisions, results, and unresolved questions.
- Project instructions and automated checks configured for your tools and working conventions.
- Guided practice in planning work, assessing AI output, and maintaining the project across sessions.
- Where needed, Ho System skills installed and configured for your AI tools.
About Andrew
I'm Andrew Marcus, a systems designer and architect with an MIT M.Arch and 25 years in design practice and education. I began building software with AI in late 2025. The Ho System developed through that work.
Kanyō, an early project, reached production in about six weeks. It monitors the peregrine falcon camera on the roof of Memorial Hall at Harvard, identifies visits, records clips, and sends notifications. I developed the system's requirements and behavior while working with AI on the implementation.
Read the Kanyō project account, or follow a Ho System project from its initial plan through its working records. I also write about human–AI collaboration at Sageframe.
Working with me
The methodology, templates, and guides are freely available on this site. Paid engagements cover my time helping you plan a project, set up its working environment, review implementation, and develop your own practice. To discuss an engagement, email me with what you want to build or what your team needs help doing.
